The Birth

Reconstituted 3ª the Comp. Riflemen of 1° the Batt., 1° Rgt Italian Infantry of Line is born from the experience and the passion of a group of friends which, after various years in the atmosphere of the risorgimentals reenactments and one constant sport activity in within of the shooting with crews to muzzle-loader, decide to make to live again the memory of those men and women who, under the eagles of Napoleone, have diffused in all Europe the liberal and innovating ideals of the French Revolution. Those same ideals that they gave the impulse to the patriots in our country whom they made subsequently the Italy.

Because the Italian uniform

The choice to represent a regiment completely formed from Italians is been born from desire to restore a strong tie with the history of our Emilian territory - Inhabitant of Romagna: the zones of Ferrara and Bologna made part of the Cispadana Republic at first, then Cisalpina, and finally of the Reign of Italy therefore they always belonged to this embryo of intentional Italian State from Napoleone Buonaparte, with the exception of other regions like the annexed Piedmont or the Tuscany directly from th  French Empire. From our studies it has been interesting to notice that, in particular, it is the Emilia that the Romagne was recruitment place, during all the Napoleonic period, of the Regiments of Infantry of Line. It would have been against sense not to reconstitute an unit of Italian lever like glorious the first regiment of line infantry of for the overwhelming majority from Emilians and Romagnoli..

The scopes

Our understanding then, has been that one not to recreate specialistic unit or elite but a company of riflemen to the aim to render honor to all those humble, brave ones, and unknowns makes you that they covered of Glory theirs flags in the many campaigns, and that they paid honors to the first joined embryo of Italy.

This our initiative is not born isolated, but it is the activity consequence on which we try to work at the best with various objects to you between they connects to you: activity of shooting, historical search, ancient rifle promotion, historical reconstruction, conferences, reprints of documents, etc, and is still on these bases that our continuous engagement, is directly but also jointly to other societies, in perfect tuning having the same common interests.

With some groups, and in particular the section riflemen of 113° the Rgt of Infantry of Line, we have established a relationship of great cohesion and exchange it is of means is of men.

The collaboration and the availability met near the polygon of Ferrara allow us to operate and it introduces us the public, that it answers favorably to our initiatives.

rediscover old documents, to live again the national history, they satisfy to us and they spur to us to continue with ulterior engagement to study in depth our acquaintances, in exchanging to us experiences and emotions.

Therefore we are opened to all without distinctions, very happy for putting to disposition our baggage of acquaintances for anyone can have interest for the ancient crews to black powder in their various typology, for their military history and the use, for the shooting and their use in emergency conditions.

The period of our specific interest, like already said, is that Napoleonic, and the search door to discover to us find sufficient documents in order to put entirety uniforms and accessories, thanks to the engagemente and to the availability of persons equally interested and extremely competent with which it is a true one appeal to collaborate

To reconstruct an event, the life of a field, the instructions, the guards, the honors stake, the battle between unloads  of rifles and rumbles of gun, the all cured end in the minimums details, is involved and gets passionate in a climate in which all they are equal and friends, without distinction of age and of social condition, putting therefore not only in practical the long searches, but offering a new and detailed show undoubtedly for the historical realism, than ago to reappear the old memories you drained to us and filler to the memory many protagonists of the history often forgets to you.

To make to see and to touch with hand the faithful reconstruction of how much happened, of as it was lived and it fought more than 200 years ago, with armament also originates them age, will sure make to make curious the spectator.
